1. UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM (UPS)
The UPS system allows you to utilize a battery and inverter, excluding solar panels, that enable you to use essential electrical appliances during a power outage.
2. GRID ASSIST SYSTEM
The Grid Assist System enables you to utilize a battery, inverter and solar panels, making it possible to reduce your reliance on Eskom’s power-supply, contributing to cost saving.
3. GRID TIE SYSTEM
The Grid Tie System also utilizes a battery, inverter and solar panels, but what differentiates it from the Grid Assist System is that energy collected through your solar system is firstly used to provide energy to your building and all excess power is sent to Eskom’s grid.
4. OFF GRID SYSTEM
The Off Grid System utilizes a battery, inverter and solar panels, enabling you to produce power for your building, solely depending on solar. There is thus zero reliance on Eskom’s grid-power.

This client needed a solution for his business to stay operative during power outages. We installed 220 solar panels, and connected an 150kW Atess inverter and a Freedom Won high-voltage 100/80kWh battery.
Our client asked us to install and connect a Sunsynk inverter to his custom batteries as Sunsynk inverters are credited as some of the best on the market and Green Link Solutions is Master Installers at Sunsynk.
At this client’s home, we implemented a grid-assist solar system, by installing a 5kW Sunsynk Inverter, a 5kWh Sunsynk Battery and ten 450watt Trina solar panels. This will help the client become self-sustainable have a sufficient supply of electricity.
